NUTRITION
Proper nutrition is especially critical during key stages of life, that is why it is important to us

How we do it and our Farming Projects

One of the biggest problems in Uganda is hunger. 10.1 million people in Uganda are suffering from hunger and food insecurity. Hunger is one of the leading causes of death in Uganda with un abundant number of resources in the county, Unequal access and ineffective handling leaves millions of people malnourished.
Most of the families in the local vulnerable communities can afford two meals a day and if any can, they can’t have a balanced diet. This has caused malnutrition, deficiency diseases, starvation and eventually death. But we believe to transform nutrition and farming in service to our communities.
We envision a future where farming is free and accessible to communities, oriented towards environmental well-being, and concerned with health. Healthy communities connect a number of farmers with in different communities who grow a number of healthier and nutritious foods that help us to create healthier community for those in need.
We so far purchase two lands so as to grow some food to help us feed the elderly, disabled, and those from very poor families, part of the money from the Harvest got from the gardens helps to educate some children; children who are orphans, those whose parents are in prisons, those who are mistreated and those from families that are extremely very poor.
What we grow include; Tomatoes, pumpkins, cabbages, banana, water melons, straw berries, mush room, cassava, maize or corn, sweet and Irish potatoes and rare chicken for eggs basically for the young and vulnerable children and the old aged or the elderly people. Finding belonging, growing great people.
We educate and support the most vulnerable children through education, helping them to get the most from their time at school and providing a foundation for a productive and happy future
Despite the so many benefits of being able to attend school and receive formal education. The expenses of sending a child and most especially the girls to school in Uganda are high for the majority of the parents in local vulnerable communities who have a low earning.
The costs of; school fees, uniforms, scholastic materials and other expenses are much that a large number of children have no hope of attending school. Poverty levels make it extremely difficult to develop any savings and in most cases money for school fees is spent on basic needs of life like food in the home.
Education means opportunities and opportunities mean empowerment. Through supporting education, we are giving children the means to obtain necessary skills that will give a better future in life with their families.

EDUCATION

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to better living

We want to build a school
We struggle to help as many children as we can to have a chance to education by offering them sponsorship opportunities. Right now, our children are still taking long journeys 7 to 10 miles to go to school as we do not have nearby schools in our community.

One of the projects we want to run soon is the school building project. We are soon setting up an education center to offer Sustainable and Reliable education. Our education system is quite different from what majority of the schools will have to offer; besides curriculum studies, we will offer basic and income generating skills to our students and young adults to help them be job creators and not job seekers. We will be looking at producing citizens who are prepared to excel from these disadvantaged communities.
We need to buy our own land, build up a construction for the classes At least five rooms minimum with a toilet and a canteen to offer a conducive environment for our learners. It is so challenging especially as per now because we do not have land even to meet the temporary classes or structure.

We provide a holistic transformation of local rural communities and urban disadvantaged communities affected by hunger, malnutrition, and deficiency diseases.
Vulnerable communities, poor diets and higher disease risks but with less medical attention. Many people can’t access medical care because it’s expensive and can’t be affordable at all. A few that can try to acquire medical care can’t get its full dose due to its cost.
